What is the Pupil Premium?

The Pupil Premium is additional funding provided by the UK government to schools like ours. Its purpose is to ensure that all children, irrespective of their circumstances, have an equal opportunity to flourish academically and personally. The funding aims to bridge the attainment gap and empower every child to unlock their full potential.

Who is Eligible for the Pupil Premium?

The Pupil Premium is allocated to schools based on specific eligibility criteria, which include children who:

• Have been registered for Free School Meals at any time during the past six years.

• Are currently or have been in the care of the local authority (Looked After Children).

• Come from Armed Forces families (Service premium).
